Mehmet "James" Bayburt

Successor / Overseas Consultant (President for Fall 2009-Spring 2010)

James has devoted himself to the game for more than a decade playing as well as organizing chess tournaments. James arrived in Las Vegas from distant Istanbul on Fall 2008 and the UNLV Chess Club quickly attracted him. He has taken the role of president from Austin and passed it to Sean as he graduated in Spring 2010.
